📚While I keep taking notes from Josephine Greywoode's Why We Read, a beautiful collection of essays that I slowly enjoy, I discover that I finished only four out of the many McKinsey annual recommendations. Here are two quotes on reading: ✍️ Christopher de Hamel: We read novels andnewspapers, poems and emails, tweets and roadsigns, manuals, menus and maps, and each activity has its own distinct history; each involves a different economy of attention.✍️ Dennis Dunncan: Books can be used and enjoyed in a thousand wonderful ways that don't necessarily include reading. Here is the point, however. They could. Despite all the useful and important reasons for owning a book, you could, you actually could, if you really wanted to, read it as well.📚📚📚#cecitesceu #readingaddict #bookaddict #readingtime #myreadings #whyweread #nonfiction #bookrecommendation

If you're like me, and you get both over-excited, and a little stressed when entering a book store ('so many books, so little time on this planet, which one should I choose' scenario!), then I personally, love looking at other people's recommended reading lists. 📖 Summer is here and it's the perfect excuse to take time out and read, just for the sake of it! And, for me it has to be the physical thing. Books are things of beauty! So, here is Mckinsey's annual book recommendations. 📚 https://lnkd.in/dzS7VwqS#education #personaldevelopment #workandplay
